Weekly Parent Group (English) – In Person

Pre-Registration Required
Registration will close Thursday at Midnight the week prior to the in person events. This will ensure staff can best serve you during group sessions, 1:1 support and be prepared for the in person training.

 

Weekly Parent Group (English)

Our peer support group offers families a safe space to connect with others that have similar experiences. Join us at any time! Families can gain resources that build self-advocacy skills and  become empowered to make an informed decision for their family.  Come meet other families, learn about community resources and practice self-advocacy skills. 

As a starting point we will discuss the topics below however our support groups are meant to fill the needs of families in our community, please join us and let the group know your current needs.  We hope that you will join us. 

Each month our group is facilitated by a parent of a child with a disability and encourages peer to peer connections and support. Support group sessions may have guest speakers or special topics when appropriate.
