Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is an ongoing pattern of inattention, hyperactivity, and/or impulsivity. These symptoms can significantly interfere with an individual’s daily activities, relationships, and performance at school or work.
ADHD begins in childhood and can continue into the teen years and adulthood. While ADHD can present challenges for social relationships and academic success, there are effective strategies and treatments that can help manage symptoms and support children both at home and in school.
In this training you will learn:
• The three most common behaviors exhibited by children with ADHD
• Simple environmental adjustments that can be made at home and at school
• Practical academic accommodations and modifications to increase school success
