IEP Binder Parent Workshop at the Camarena Memorial Library

Parents are invited by California Hands and Voices CARES CPRC to a
training session at Camarena Memorial Library, covering the IEP
process and organizing IEP folders. Please register before the training to
ensure that we bring enough material for everyone.

**What We Will Cover:**
– 6 principles of IDEA
– Eligibility determination
– Involvement in the IEP process
– Service delivery
– Legal protection and procedural safeguards

Each family receives 1 FREE IEP Binder Starter Kit, including a binder,
dividers, and helpful resources. Adding a current photo of your child to the
cover helps keep their needs in focus. (while supplies last)

Please bring your child’s most recent IFSP, IEP, or
504 documents.

California Hands and Voices CARES CPRC invita a los padres a una
sesión de capacitación en la Biblioteca Camarena Memorial, donde se
abordará el proceso del IEP y la organización de las carpetas. Por favor,
inscríbase antes de la capacitación para asegurar que traigamos
suficiente material para todos. La inscripción finaliza el 1 de Junio de
2025.

**Qué cubriremos:**
– Seis principios de la IDEA
– Determinación de elegibilidad
– Participación en el proceso del IEP
– Prestación de servicios
– Protección jurídica y garantías procesales

*Beneficios de la capacitación:**
Cada familia recibe GRATIS un kit de inicio para la carpeta del IEP, que
incluye una carpeta, separadores y recursos útiles. Agregar una foto actual de
su hijo/a en la portada ayuda a mantener sus necesidades bien definidas.

*Por favor, traiga los documentos más recientes del
IFSP, IEP o 504 de su hijo/a.
